The three-day option follows the two-day format with an Advanced Practice Workshop including topics and tools for extending BIFI-based work with families, a  one and a half hour TBI & families Ethics Seminar, and a foundation for successfully managing implementation challenges. Both the two and three day options can be customized to integrate a variety of topics designed to meet audience needs (co-morbidity, substance abuse, population-specific practices, etc.). Continuing education units for psychologists are provided for LPs, and certificates of attendance are distributed to all attendees.

- For General Practitioners: Option of two or three day training packages. Two, two-day training options are available. Additionally, training includes an introduction to the application of appropriate theoretical frameworks when working with clients recovering from brain injury. For the two-day BIFI training option, day two prepares clinicians to implement the Brain Injury Family Intervention and provides all participants with a BIFI manual and kit. The two-day general practice option offers a second day focused on identification and screening, co-morbidity with other mental health populations, and specific strategies for developing a practice prepared to serve clients with TBI.

The three-day option includes a third day interactive practice workshop preparing clinicians with additional tools and techniques for practice. The three-day option can be further customized to match organizational needs with presented material.

Continuing education units for psychologists are provided for LPs, and certificates of attendance are distributed to all attendees.
